About Bob 
​        Exercise and Nutrition have been my passion ever since I began working out at age 13 to help with sports.  As I began to see noticable improvements in both my physique and performance as a result of proper nutrition and exercise, I became determined to learn how to maximize the benefits of both.  I used this knowledge to assist me in a variety of endeavors, including: training as a United States Marine, Marathon training, and a competitive bodybuilding career which I participated in for more than 10 years, including the AAU Mr. USA.

         I have followed my passion in my education and career.  I graduated summa cum laude from Liberty University with a B.S. degree in Health/Social Science. Additionally, I have studied Exercise Science at VCU, and earned a Master Personal Trainer and Nutritionist Certification from the IFPA in 1999.  I am a constant student of exercise and love to continually bring new challanges to my clients. 

         My areas of expertise include:  Strength Training/ Resistance Training, Cardiovascular exercise, Physique Competition Training (ie: bodybuilding, figure, fitness, bikini), Core Strengthening, TRX, Bosu, MMA (Combat) Style Training, Flexibility (including yoga and pilates techniques), Sports Specific Training (ie: Speed, Strength, Agility), Plyometrics, Boxing, HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), Injury Prevention/Rehab, KettleBell, Medicine Ball, Tabatas, Cardio/Resistance Interval Training, and more...

          For over 12 years I have used my life-long passion, education, and experience to help many clients successfully lose weight, get in better shape, and maximize their athletic ability.  I work with all ages and ability levels, from children to seniors and beginners to professional athetes.  Along with a customized nutrition and exercise plan designed specifically for your body type and goals, I will provide continual motivation, accountability, and positive reinforcement.  I am a consummate perfectionist and always a professional.  When you decide to train with me, you've made the decision to change your life for the better...and YOU WILL GET RESULTS!
